TEMA has a team of four braving the mountains of the Pyrenees to take on a stage of the Tour de France on July 18th 2010.  This is a stage taken on by 8,000 amateur cyclists a few days before the professionals take on the Col du Tourmalet.

The team is training at least 5 days a week and desperately trying to lose some weight to aid them on the tortuous mountain climbs.

This year's Etape commemorates the 100th anniversary of the Pyrénées inclusion in the Tour de France.  Starting from Pau, and taking in the wonderful and historic climbs of the Col de Marie-Blanque and the Col du Soulor, before a tremendous mountain top finish at the Tourmalet.

The team will be raising sponsorship for the Etape Challenge and our target is to raise £5,000 for our chosen charity Lineham Farm which will pay for a week's holiday for disadvantaged children at the farm.
